Snow has arrived in Wengen

The snow is starting above the village which is good news for those of us who want to ski in December.  To keep up to date on the current weather, watch the webcam and get general news about regional snow falls just go to Snow Forecast

The village is a beehive of activity getting ready for the upcoming season.  Several stores including Central Sport are having significant refurbishments in the run-up to Christmas.

The new Downhill Only Club room in the former Eiger Hotel next to the railway station will be an excellent place to see old friends and meet new members.

The Telegraph has an excellent article on what to do in the area, particularly which bars are great for apres-ski!
